Governing BoardCBGA has a Governing Board comprising eminent civil society leaders and academicians who guide the organisation's work. The Board meets twice every year to assess the organisation's overall achievements and gaps and provide strategic inputs for its future course of action. The Governing Board of CBGA focuses on – the strategic directions being taken by the organisation, its overall achievements and gaps, overall management of funds by the organisation, strength and capacity of its human resources, and policies for the working of the organisation. The Executive Director of CBGA, who has a full-time position, is appointed by the Board. All powers of administration, management of funds, supervision and implementation of programmes vest in the Board; which it has delegated to the Executive Director of CBGA. The Executive Director has the primary responsibility for translating the strategic inputs of the Governing Board into planning and implementation of various programmes of CBGA. The Governing Board elects a President, a Secretary and a Treasurer from amongst itself for a period of three years. Presently, Dr. Shantha Sinha is the President, Mr. John Samuel is the Secretary, Mr. Anil Singh is the Treasurer and there are six other members in the Governing Board.
