Orientation Workshop on 'Fault Lines in the International Tax System and Illicit Financial Flows' 20-21 March, 2017
CBGA and Financial Transparency Coalition (FTC) organised an Orientation Workshop titled 'Fault Lines in the International Tax System and Illicit Financial Flows' on March 20-21, 2017 in New Delhi.
The workshop had 41 participants from civil society organisations across South Asia, South-East Asia and China, working on a myriad of issues including taxation, gender, labour, extractives, land rights and development. The workshop which explored the intersectionality of issues including domestic resource mobilisation, illicit financial flows, financial secrecy with development, featured rich and diverse discussions on how taxation and matters relating to illicit financial flows must feature at the heart of development debates.
