Andhra Pradesh has launched the 'Nutrition Mission' that aims to abolish malnutrition in the state in next 10 years. The State Nutrition Mission will focus on multi-sectoral approaches, combining nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions to effect a more holistic sustainable response to improve the child nutrition, with a priority focus on those districts that have the highest burden of stunting in terms of both prevalence and number of children affected.
