Chandrika specialises in the area of budget and nutrition. She has many years of experience in the field of research and education. At CBGA, she has developed a Primer on the budgeting processes at the district-level and also worked on a study to understand Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) spending on nutrition. At present she is working with us as a Consultant for a project related to public spending on nutrition in India.
She has written occasional papers for National Centre for Advocacy Studies, Pune and has worked with the Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur. Chandrika has also been a lecturer in Economics at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMU), Nanded, Maharashtra. She has done her Masters in Economics from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
