Advocacy Coordinator

Happy has more than 14 years of professional experience in the development sector, specializing in areas of knowledge management, governance and decentralisation. In her current capacity, Happy leads CBGA’s efforts around advocating for pro-poor budgetary policies and greater transparency in governance processes. She coordinates work on policy engagement and is responsible for strengthening the organisation's linkages with policymakers. She is also in charge of communication and media work at CBGA.

She is engaged in CBGA's work around budget transparency at the grassroots level, and budget utilization for development schemes, which includes generating evidence through analysis and developing policy recommendations towards addressing the gaps in this domain.

Prior to joining CBGA, Happy has worked with the United Nations Development Programme country office in India. She has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Lucknow.
