Jawed Alam Khan, Ph.D.

Senior Research Consultant

Jawed’s work focusses on fiscal decentralisation, rural development, utilization of funds in social sector programmes and responsiveness of budgets to disadvantaged groups like minorities, dalits and adivasis. He is proficient in the field of training and capacity building, and has contributed significantly to CBGA’s collaborative efforts with civil society organizations, academic and government institutions across the country. He has been a part of the United Nation’s process of consultations related to financing for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of post 2015 agenda.

He has 12 years of experience in field-work based research and has authored several research reports and papers in his areas of interest. He has previously worked with the Institute of Social Sciences (ISS), New Delhi. Jawed has a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
