Sridhar Kundu, Ph.D

Senior Research Officer

Sridhar is working on the impact of fiscal policy on poverty and inequality, issues relating to taxation and those pertaining to the energy sector. His areas of research include growth and regulatory system in the power sector and issues related to poverty and inequality. Prior to joining CBGA, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Symbiosis College, Pune.

He has also been a Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and an Assistant Secretary at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi. He has an M.Phil. and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and Master's degree in Economics from Ravenshaw Autonomous University, Odisha.
