Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability and Financial Transparency Coalition convened a round table titled 'Towards an Asian Narrative on Tax Justice and Financial Transparency' with academics and civil society organizations from various Asian countries on October 29-30, 2018. The round table facilitated conversations among diverse stakeholders on the national and regional solutions that can address issues and concerns related to domestic resource mobilization, international tax and illicit financial flows. The meeting also explored complementarities between academic and policy researchers, and civil society actors as they lend their energy to a movement to achieve just and fair tax systems both nationally as well as internationally.
