Rajasthan Budget 2024-25: Workshop on Budget Priorities 15-16 January, 2024
To deliberate and discuss the budget priorities for the upcoming state budget of Rajasthan, Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability co-organised a two day workshop with Budget Analysis and Research Centre (BARC), Jaipur and The Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur. The workshop was conducted on 15th and16th January 2024.
On the first day of the workshop, discussion on social sectors like education, food security and nutrition, health, drinking water and sanitation was followed up with the deliberations on the priorities of the economic sectors like unorganised sector, agriculture and allied sector. Second day witnessed active discussions on the issues faced by social/marginalised groups like Dalits, tribals, DNTs, women, children, minorities and persons with disabilities.
