In the wake of COVID-19 crisis, many countries have turned to international financial institutions - such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and Asian Development Bank - for financial assistance.

In this context, the Policy Note discusses the extent of transparency in the financial aid provided by these multilateral organisations to some of the developing countries including India.
