The acceptance of the 14th Finance Commission  (2015-16 to 2019-20) recommendations has effected changes across States, reflected both in policies and budgetary priorities across social sector. The health sector has been among the prominent social sectors which has witnessed significant changes. This fact sheet provides an analysis of budgetary allocation for maternal and child health interventions across nine select States and also suggest some policy recommendations.
